But Ruan Qing clenched his teeth tightly, and the man backed
away, holding Ruan Qing’s chin firmly, his dim voice carrying a hint of
coaxing, “Be good, if you don’t want to be pushed out, just open your mouth.”
Ruan Qing bit his lower lip, and his long eyelashes trembled
slightly, making his frail figure appear somewhat helpless.
It evoked both pity and the temptation to go further.
Finally, he slowly opened his mouth.
This time, the man didn’t just lightly lick; instead, he once
again held the teenager’s fair chin and forced his way in between his teeth.
The man even went too far, pressing Ruan Qing against the
table, using his foot to lightly push between Ruan Qing’s legs, indulging in
the sensation near his lips.
Ruan Qing could only endure passively. Fear made it difficult
for his mind to focus, and even harder to think and analyze. His heart rate
quickened because of the fear.
He tried hard to calm himself down. Then, he slowly loosened
his grip on the man’s clothes, reaching into his own pocket and quickly tearing
the talisman paper.
In the instant the talisman paper was torn, the man instantly
froze. He released Ruan Qing and gently rubbed the boy’s reddened lips that he
had just kissed. Then, he lightly kissed near Ruan Qing’s ear and said, “You
are mine.”
“We have already entered into a marriage contract.”
“You can’t escape.”
After saying these words, the man’s figure disappeared. With
the support gone, Ruan Qing fell directly to the ground. He could no longer
suppress the fear, and he started to breathe rapidly. His delicate face lost
all color, and his whole body tensed up, looking extremely fragile.
The next second, the sound of glass shattering suddenly
resounded, breaking the eerie silence and even shattering the boundless
darkness.
After the sound of shattering, the entire space seemed to be
fragmented like a broken mirror.
Ruan Qing’s tears kept flowing uncontrollably, and his
expression remained fearful and fragile. However, as he looked at the familiar
dormitory room, there was no surprise in his misty eyes.
At this moment, it’s highly possible that Song Yu had been
forced to leave by Su Zhiwei. This realization made him much calmer, and his
rationality returned once again.
At first, Ruan Qing didn’t react due to fear, but after the
sound of that dripping blood disappeared, he realized something was wrong;
obviously, that wasn’t reality.
He was just afraid of ghosts, but that didn’t mean he would
become a fool. The person from earlier wasn’t just any player; it was... Song
Yu.
Song Yu was the one leading him, pushing him, and pulling
him.
Looking at Song Yu’s diary, it was clear that Song Yu ‘loved’
him. So he wouldn’t let anyone else get close to him unless that person was
Song Yu himself, which would explain the sudden silence.
And the reason why Song Yu’s body had warmth...
It was highly likely that they had entered the dormitory
building and were pulled into the mirror by Song Yu. Everything that happened
earlier was probably an illusion created by Song Yu.
Just like the dream he had in the classroom.
The talisman Ruan Qing tore apart was taken from Su Zhiwei’s
office. The talisman belonged to Su Zhiwei. He held the idea that perhaps Su
Zhiwei could sense the situation of the talisman, so he tore it apart.
If Su Zhiwei really could sense it, then the other would most
likely rush back.
After all, if the talisman was destroyed, it meant something
went wrong on his side.
Clearly, Ruan Qing’s guess was right.
Song Yu was hiding from Su Zhiwei. Although Ruan Qing didn’t
know how Song Yu managed to avoid Su Zhiwei, as long as Song Yu sensed Su
Zhiwei’s presence, he would immediately flee.
Song Yu probably couldn’t defeat Su Zhiwei, at least not now,
but he must have some kind of support; otherwise, he wouldn’t have appeared.
After all, if he truly feared Su Zhiwei, he could easily hide
and not show up.
There was one thing Ruan Qing couldn’t understand. Song Yu
clearly wasn’t a ghost inside the mirror, but he had the ability to control the
mirror, very much like the ghost inside it.
Su Zhiwei, a living person, a long-deceased younger brother,
and Song Yu, these three members of the Song family didn’t seem to be
benevolent characters at all.
Was the Song family... really sealing the black mist?
Ruan Qing looked at the players lying on the ground, stood up
directly, and quickly crossed over them. Without hesitation, he picked up
several other notebooks from the table and flipped through them rapidly.
Sure enough, apart from that pink diary, the other notebooks
contained research about that ‘deity.’
The three large notebooks were difficult to carry away, but
fortunately, Ruan Qing had a strong memory. He quickly skimmed through all the
contents and memorized them.
When the players on the ground woke up, Ruan Qing had just
closed the notebooks and put them back in their original places.
Su Zhiwei was likely to come, and Ruan Qing hurriedly ran
towards the door.
Song Yu didn’t want to encounter Su Zhiwei, and neither did
he.
Unfortunately, just as Ruan Qing reached the door and was
about to open it, someone stopped him—the players on the ground had already
woken up.
Ruan Qing pursed his lips, looking at the player who stopped
him standing there.
As the players woke up from the ground, their condition was
similar to Ruan Qing’s, all showing fear on their faces. One player even lost
his breath directly, apparently having experienced something unpleasant.
The player who died was the one who had pushed Ruan Qing
before.
The other players showed no surprise at this, their
expressions very solemn. They immediately opened the door and rushed out,
trying to leave this eerie dormitory.
Mu Ye’an even daringly took those four notebooks with him as
he left.
The boss’ ability was truly extraordinary—he could
unknowingly draw people into their dreams. If they died in the dream, they
would die in reality, too.
Moreover, the supernatural items were utterly ineffective
against him; in the dream, they had no choice but to run.
The audience in the live stream room, who witnessed the
streamers being pulled into this illusion, were utterly frightened.
[My goodness! This is so terrifying! This boss is practically
invincible! Can’t be killed at all! Even the items hardly have any effect.]
[This is a high-level dungeon, and you still want to kill the
boss? Even top players don’t dare to think like that, okay? But this boss is
indeed way too invincible; there seems to be no apparent weakness.]
[Weakness? Look at that NPC over there. Does he look like the
boss’s weakness? I remember the player who died pushed him before, and just
now, the boss was relentlessly targeting God Fang and God Mu. It doesn’t look
like a coincidence at all.]
The audience in the live streaming room shifted their
attention to the teenager.
The teenager had a delicate and pale face, but his eyes were
slightly red, indicating that he had been crying for a long time. His moist
eyes seemed to have a thin layer of mist, reflecting a glimmer of flowing
light, like the sparkling stars on a summer night.
Moreover, his lips were exceptionally red, as if the evening
glow had dyed the horizon with a breathtaking beauty, looking like he had been
deeply violated by someone.
He appeared astonishingly beautiful.
The live streaming room fell silent, and even the barrage
paused for several seconds before rapidly flashing again.
[The way he looks, it’s as if he’s been bullied
(stunned.JPG).]
[It’s as if he has been violated...]
[It’s as if he has experienced something intimate...]
[Help! While everyone else is in a horror movie, he seems to
be in an adult film set! Why isn’t there a camera angle for him in the live
streaming room?! I really want to see what happened!]
[To be honest, I also want to see a beautiful person being
humiliated, but I don’t think they would broadcast it even if he has his own
live stream.]
[I want to see it too...]
The players had no time to pay attention to what the barrage
was saying; they just wanted to leave the dormitory quickly.
Fortunately, this time went more smoothly, and they didn’t
encounter any more ghostly occurrences. They left through the back door of the
boys’ dormitory and prepared to go to the archive room.
Ruan Qing followed them without saying a word.
The archives’ ghosts had already dispersed, and no one knew
where they had gone.
Several players cautiously approached the entrance of the
archives and looked around before twisting the doorknob to open it.
However, they couldn’t push the door open.
It wasn’t because the door was locked, but it seemed to be
blocked from the inside with something heavy.
There’s someone inside!
No wonder those ghosts were lingering around the archives
earlier. If it weren’t for them luring people away, the people inside the
archives might not have been safe.
After all, a mere door might not be able to keep ghosts at
bay.
Fang Qingyuan knocked on the door and lowered his voice.
“Open the door.”
The ghosts in this instance seemed unable to speak; those who
could speak were obviously human.
The few people inside the archives looked at each other and
finally decided to open the door. After all, besides the main entrance, there
was no other way out of the archives. Blocking the ghosts would effectively
seal their escape route.
And the presence of a person meant that the ghosts outside
the door had already left.
The people inside the archives were the remaining players
from before, but there were only a few left.
The player with the short hair was gone, probably in a dire
situation. Apart from him, only three players remained in the archives.
Pei Yan, Ji Zhiyuan, and... Li Shuyang.
When Li Shuyang saw Ruan Qing, he greeted him with delight.
“Su Qing, it’s so good to see you’re okay.”
The others also felt relieved when they saw the teenager was
unharmed.
As for some player outside the door, upon hearing the words
‘Su Qing,’ he froze. He looked at the tall Li Shuyang with a bit of
astonishment, then glanced at the teenager, but in the end, he didn’t say
anything.
After all, now wasn’t the time for reminiscing. The players
quickly entered the archives, sealed the door, and began searching for
information.
Ruan Qing didn’t go to search; instead, he sat at another
table. Pei Yan and Ji Zhiyuan followed him over.
Ji Zhiyuan looked at the seemingly distressed teenager and
asked, “Brother Su, are you okay?”
Ruan Qing shook his head, “I’m fine.”
After confirming that he was unharmed, Ji Zhiyuan breathed a
sigh of relief and began to recount what had happened to them.
“After you were taken away by Su Zhiwei, we encountered
ghosts from the examination room.”
“We wanted to look for you, but the ghosts were chasing us
too closely, and we couldn’t break free. In the end, we were trapped here.”
Though Ji Zhiyuan’s account was brief, one could imagine that
the experience must have been extremely dangerous; otherwise, it would not only
be the few of them left here.
Ruan Qing also briefly explained the situation on his side,
mentioning the encounter with the ghosts and the notebook incident.
Upon hearing this, the two of them furrowed their brows,
their expressions different, but in the end, they said nothing.
They simply walked to the side of Mu Ye’an and placed the
files and documents about Song Yu and the events from thirteen years ago on the
table, then picked up the notebook to examine it.
Mu Ye’an glanced at the three of them and paused his gaze on
Ruan Qing for a moment before turning away with a cold expression, saying
nothing.
The four of them sat around the same table in a strange
atmosphere. They read the notebook, examined the documents, and even exchanged
some information without saying a word.
Ruan Qing, however, couldn’t help but shiver while reading.
Seeing this, Ji Zhiyuan quickly took off his school uniform jacket and draped
it over Ruan Qing before he continued to review the materials.
