The chilling sensation became increasingly intense, as if contemplating where to strike and kill him.
Ruan Qing bit his lower lip tightly; fear and dread pushed him to the edge of collapse, and he abruptly stood up.
As Ruan Qing rose, everything abnormal seemed to vanish, as if there was no invisible entity at all.
His sudden movement caused a significant sound, drawing the attention of the two people in front of him.
Even the professor at the podium turned to look at Ruan Qing.
The professor, puzzled, asked, “What’s the matter, student? Is there something wrong?”
Ruan Qing’s delicate face turned slightly pale, and in a trembling voice filled with fear, he said, “Teacher, I... I need to go to the restroom.”
Wait a moment.
Why could he speak?
Wasn’t it impossible to speak when crying so bitterly?
He clearly...
But before Ruan Qing could contemplate further, the professor disapproved, “We only have five minutes left until the end of the class. Go after class.”
“Sit down and continue listening.”
The professor, known for his kindness and amiability at school, was rarely seen angry. However, this time, his tone carried an unusual sternness, even dominance, seemingly disliking Ruan Qing’s behavior.
Ruan Qing suddenly felt an overwhelming sense of grievance. His long eyelashes quivered helplessly as he pressed his pale lips together.
Under the stern gaze of the professor, he had no choice but to sit back down.
However, as Ruan Qing sat down, he stiffened. The height was wrong.
The temperature was also wrong.
Before he sat down, it seemed like something or someone was already on his chair.
And when he sat down, he ended up directly on the other person’s lap.
The chilling sensation made Ruan Qing stiff all over, and without thinking, he wanted to stand up.
However, invisible hands firmly restrained his waist, making it impossible for him to stand up.
Ruan Qing wanted to struggle, but found it impossible to break free. In the end, he could only sit stiffly, allowing the unseen presence to do as it pleased.
No one in the classroom noticed anything unusual.
However, upon closer inspection, one could see a young man in one of the seats, sitting but appearing to be elevated.
Moreover, he seemed not to be sitting on the chair but suspended in midair.
As if there was something in between.
It looked extremely peculiar.
After all, the posture of the young man didn’t seem like he was sitting still; it was more like he was struggling to stand up.
However hard he tried, he couldn’t stand up, helplessly confined to his seat.
The slender figure continued to tremble slightly, coupled with those moist eyes, appearing quite pitiful.
Ruan Qing wanted to escape, but he couldn’t. He couldn’t even resist, only helplessly shedding tears.
The next moment, a cold and sticky sensation reached his earlobe, causing his slender body to uncontrollably shiver.
Ruan Qing could even sense a hand sliding along his clothes, slipping under them, then gently caressing the skin of his waist and abdomen.
Unlike his own delicate and smooth skin, the touch of that hand was much rougher, making Ruan Qing shiver even more.
He wanted to reach out to stop it, but his hand couldn’t touch that hand at all.
As if that hand didn’t exist, and everything was just his imagination.
Unable to stop it or escape, Ruan Qing could only whimper softly, tears flowing uncontrollably.
However, the tears didn’t fall on Ruan Qing’s clothes; it was as if something caught them in midair.
Because the tears slid down from his eyes, leaving a slightly cool sensation.
Like feathers scratching deep into one’s heart, giving rise to countless dark thoughts.
Really quite a crybaby.
No wonder people called him a crying ghost.
But, truly beautiful.
Beautiful to the point where one couldn’t restrain themselves, wanting to see him breathe rapidly, wanting to see him cry for other reasons.
Ruan Qing suddenly realized that his chin was being restrained, then forcibly turned to the left.
The unseen hand lingered on his rosy lips, gently rubbing, carrying a hint of ambiguous uncertainty.
The chilly atmosphere instilled a fear that couldn’t be suppressed in the depths of one’s heart.
Ruan Qing reached out, attempting to grasp the hand resting on his thin lips, but it slipped through his fingers.
He couldn’t touch it, nor could he stop the man’s actions, ultimately only bearing it all.
The cold sensation on his lips made Ruan Qing’s body uncontrollably tremble.
Was he going to die?
Ruan Qing was awakened by fear and disturbance.
The classroom was now bustling with noise; many students were whispering, and some were even secretly making phone calls.
“Hey, hurry up, we’ve got a new teacher for this class, and he doesn’t seem easy to deal with. Come quickly.”
Even the student in front of Ruan Qing was bending over, speaking softly on the phone, “We have a new teacher, and he’s gone to get the attendance sheet. He’ll probably call attendance when he comes back. Hurry up.”
“Proxy attendance?!” The student rolled his eyes, “What’s the point of proxy attendance? There are less than 20 people in the classroom. How is your dad going to answer for you? The teacher can easily see through it. We’ll all be in trouble when he comes back.”
“Come if you want to. If not, forget it. I won’t help you answer.”
Perhaps everyone was busy informing their roommates or classmates, and no one noticed Ruan Qing sitting at the back.
Ruan Qing now understood; he had obviously been in a dream just now.
No wonder everything felt strange.
But because he was in a dream, he couldn’t focus on thinking.
He couldn’t even notice those unusual situations.
Ruan Qing took a few deep breaths, trying to calm his extremely fearful emotions and adjust his rapid breathing.
After settling down a bit, he looked towards the podium.
There was no teacher on the podium; obviously, as the student said, the teacher had gone to get the attendance sheet.
Ruan Qing wiped away his tears, analyzing the current situation with a thoughtful expression in his lowered eyes.
The dream he just had was definitely not something he wanted, and it was definitely not a coincidence.
He was entangled by a spirit.
That dream was evidently the work of the spirit.
Ruan Qing had heard before that there were beings that would absorb the essence of humans.
Once entangled, they would ultimately be tortured to death.
There were even seductive ghosts that specifically fed on the vitality of men.
Men who had their vitality sucked away would eventually die.
Ruan Qing pursed his lips, and his eyelashes trembled slightly.
Was the pen spirit one of those seductive ghosts?
It became quite obvious.
Whether it was what happened in the dream today or what happened last night, the pen spirit clearly wanted to absorb his vitality.
Ruan Qing hesitated in his mind and spoke, ‘Can being attacked by such a being that absorbs vitality be considered an attack?’
[Can it?] Although the system didn’t know why Ruan Qing asked such a question, it still responded, but the tone was full of uncertainty, obviously touching upon its knowledge gap.
And indeed, it was a knowledge gap.
cant wait to see the new teacher. but damn ruan qing is going thru it lol
