  Jiang Shuyu persistently went door to door, unwilling to give up, hoping to see if anyone would be willing to open the door and accept them.

They couldn’t find anyone willing to accept them, but they did find a duty room downstairs in the villa area.

Meanwhile, he took out a bottle of medicine from his bag and threw it towards the zombies not far away.

After the bottle was thrown, it broke on the ground, turning into red smoke.

It emitted a strong smell of blood.

The zombies, smelling the odor, immediately rushed excitedly towards it.

Meanwhile, Ruan Qing lit a lighter, then threw it without hesitation.

The flames approached the crimson mist, instantly igniting into a blaze that engulfed the nearby zombies directly.

However, the zombies seemed completely oblivious to the pain, still lurching towards the direction of the blood scent.

In the glow of the fire, they looked horrifying.

Soon, the scent of blood was replaced by the smell of burning, and the zombies that rushed forward no longer looked at the flames but instead headed towards Ruan Qing and Jiang Shuyu.

But by this time, with the help of Jiang Shuyu, Ruan Qing had already climbed onto the fence.

Because on the other side, where Jiang Shuyu was, was the villa area where the zombies were chasing.

Unless she found someone in the villa willing to take her in, or found a safe place, she might not survive tonight.

Jiang Shuyu also knew that she had fallen on the side with the zombies. Tears of fear welled up in her eyes, and she bit her lip hard, trying not to make a sound.

Ruan Qing took a deep breath, took out the binocular from his bag, and stuffed a vial of medicine and a syringe into his pocket.

Then he found a pole nearby, attached his backpack to it, and lifted it onto the other side of the high wall.

Ruan Qing lowered his voice and said softly, “Catch it.”

“It must not fall to the ground.”

Most of them were glass medicine bottles, which would easily break if dropped on the ground. At that point, there would be no need for zombies to come rushing in.

They would be blown up right here.

Upon hearing this, Jiang Shuyu set aside her grief. She wiped away her tears and stood up to catch the backpack.

After Jiang Shuyu caught the bag, Ruan Qing leaned against the wall and quickly explained the purpose of each medicine bottle to her.

Jiang Shuyu held onto the backpack, tears streaming down her face, quietly listening to Ruan Qing’s explanation and trying hard to remember every word he said.

After finishing, Ruan Qing paused for a moment and finally spoke softly, “I wish you good luck.”

Ruan Qing then left, supporting himself against the wall, because his location was not considered safe either.

The two sides of the wall should belong to different developers, and this side obviously housed people with more power and authority.

Ruan Qing cautiously observed his surroundings, finally confirming that there was no one in a villa nearby, nor were there any zombies. He used a wire to open the door and slipped inside.

Ruan Qing didn’t rashly turn on the lights in the villa; instead, he used the dim light from his phone to look around.

Ruan Qing groped his way to the second floor of the villa, where there were many bedrooms. He randomly chose one.

The next second, the pitch-black villa was instantly illuminated.

The light illuminated every corner of the villa, as well as the person entering.

One of the men in black suits respectfully addressed the handsome man in a white lab coat. “Doctor, can we stay here for the night?”

The man glanced at the screen showing a young man and casually responded with an “Hmm.”
