The gamblers who arrived later were somewhat puzzled. Why were there two people taking turns with the gun?
Wasn’t the rule here that players would bet on a few bullets and only fire once?
At the beginning, someone in the crowd quietly explained the situation to those around them.
After the explanation, everyone was shocked and looked at Ruan Qing. But when they saw him pick up the gun, they couldn’t help but get nervous.
The atmosphere in the casino wasn’t as exciting as expected. With fewer bets being placed, most gamblers were hoping to win with just a few tries.
Only when the stakes were high did some gamblers actually hope to lose.
Because everyone liked to hope for the smallest miracle.
But at this moment, everyone was hoping Ruan Qing would win this round.
Because they also wanted to see the staff member die, which would give them a feeling of turning the tables.
Two chambers had already been fired, leaving only four chambers, with a probability of about one in four.
The danger had increased significantly.
The atmosphere grew tense, and no one at the gambling table spoke. They all stared intently at Ruan Qing’s movements.
Ruan Qing didn’t hesitate much, picking up the gun and aiming it at his temple again.
“Click.” There was still only the sound of the trigger being pulled.
It was still an empty chamber.
The gamblers cheered loudly again, as if they had won the bet themselves.
Ruan Qing pushed the gun towards the staff member, the smile on his face growing more excited and more manic.
It was the pleasure brought to him by lingering on the edge of life and death.
The staff member looked at the person in front of him, a trace of gold appearing in his pupils, and a hint of excitement in his eyes.
It was an excitement he had never experienced since his creation.
They could simulate almost everything about a human, but they could not simulate human emotions. But at this moment, he seemed to understand what excitement felt like.
It was wonderful.
The feeling of his heart beating nonstop was irresistible, making him unable to control himself from indulging in it.
In that instant, he understood why humans loved gambling so much.
He seemed to have fallen in love with gambling.
The staff member suppressed his excitement, reached out to take the gun that Ruan Qing pushed over, and, under the expectant gaze of the gamblers, pointed it at his own head and pulled the trigger.
It was still an empty shot.
This meant there was now a fifty percent chance left.
The onlooking gamblers swallowed hard, sweat beading on their foreheads.
It seemed as though they were the ones gambling.
The excitement in the staff member’s eyes diminished somewhat. He hesitated to put down the gun and did not immediately push it back to Ruan Qing.
Seeing this, Ruan Qing furrowed his delicate eyebrows slightly, revealing a hint of displeasure in his eyes. He tapped his fingers on the table. “What’s wrong?”
The staff member smiled. “You have a lot of gold coins now. Losing a hundred coins is nothing to you. You can reconsider.”
“Gold coins?” Ruan Qing tilted his head, a slight confusion in his beautiful eyes. “Are we betting gold coins in this round?”
“Aren’t we betting our lives?”
All the gamblers in this casino knew that the staffs were not human; they were some kind of creatures wearing human skins.
So everyone in the casino showed three parts of respect to the staffs, even the craziest gamblers.
But the young man’s attitude was casual and indifferent, his slightly raised chin giving off an air of superiority.
He even seemed to carry a bit of dissatisfaction and anger.
That was dissatisfaction with the staff.
The young man seemed to despise the staff’s behavior of persuading a gambler to give up in the middle of a gamble.
This was the greatest contempt for a mad gambler, and the most intolerable.
If violence weren’t prohibited in the casino, the young man might have kicked him.
The staff member looked at the young man’s disdainful look, his eyes widened, and his pupils uncontrollably turned completely golden.
Those were eyes like a poisonous snake.
Golden yellow, icy and ruthless, carrying a chilling terror.
Just looking at them was horrifying.
The staff member grinned, excitement once again filling his eyes, the corners of his mouth almost reaching his ears, “You’re right. I was wrong.”
“Sorry.” The staff member pushed the gun towards Ruan Qing, followed by a voucher worth five thousand gold coins.
“To make up for my mistake, please accept these five thousand gold coins as an apology.”
Ruan Qing didn’t even glance at the voucher. Instead, he picked up the gun from the table and aimed it at his temple.
The staff and the onlooking gamblers were extremely tense, instinctively holding their breath, not daring to blink.
Afraid to miss anything.
Even the live stream viewers were so tense they didn’t dare to breathe.
Because this shot was almost the final unknown. If it was still an empty chamber, then the bullet would be in the last one.
And if it wasn’t an empty chamber, this crazy gamble would end with the young man’s death.
One could say this shot decided the fate of the two individuals.
The area around the gambling table was deathly silent, as if isolated from the entire Life and Death casino. Everyone seemed unable to hear the sounds from other parts of the casino.
All were waiting for the final result.
Ruan Qing didn’t seem to feel any tension. After the gun was pressed against his temple, the corners of his mouth lifted into an extremely wild smile.
Then he pulled the trigger.
“Click!”
Ruan Qing hadn’t even put down the gun before the gamblers next to him started screaming, “Ahhh!!! He won! He won!”
“Holy crap! Awesome, awesome, awesome! He actually won!”
The gamblers began to celebrate wildly, their shrill screams making the atmosphere in the Life and Death Casino even more frenzied.
It also attracted more gamblers to gather around.
The smile on Ruan Qing’s face grew even brighter. He even chuckled softly, looking just like a villain who wouldn’t survive three episodes of a show.
Clearly smiling mischievously, but also exuding an indescribable elegance.
Ruan Qing twirled the gun around his finger, then pushed it towards the staff member, speaking excitedly.
“Now it’s your turn.~”
I already knew it, but my reaction was like the gamblers'. LET'S GO!
