Yang Chenjin carefully glanced at Yang Chenyan, who exuded a strong aura of hostility. He looked at the doctor who had examined Ruan Qing earlier, his voice hoarse and trembling, “How much time does he have left?”
Even the initially calm doctor was now trembling slightly, stammering as he spoke. “If treated properly, he can endure for about ten days, give or take...”
The doctor’s voice was shaking, afraid that the words ‘ten days’ would disturb the two demons in front of him.
“Ten days?” Yang Chenyan paused upon hearing this, released the nearly breathless doctor, letting him fall to the ground.
Yang Chenyan didn’t know what he was thinking. Subconsciously, he looked at Yang Chenjin, who was sitting on the bed.
After hearing ‘ten days,’ Yang Chenjin’s brain recovered slightly, and he became much calmer. He gently pinched the corner of the quilt of Ruan Qing’s bed. “Ten days is enough.”
In the Yang family, two things were easy.
One, it’s easy to want to die; two, it’s easy to want to live.
Even if one wanted to live forever, it was also very easy.
Just not as a human.
Although Yang Chenjin only said “ten days is enough”, Yang Chenyan immediately understood the meaning behind Yang Chenjin’s words.
But he didn’t say anything, standing silently on the side.
Even though he knew the other wanted to ruin the ‘God Creation’ plan that the Yang family had been planning for a long time.
Yang Chenyan thought Yang Chenjin was crazy, and he also felt that he himself was crazy.
It had only been three days since he met someone, and he found himself subconsciously thinking about sacrificing the Yang family’s ‘God Creation’ plan just to let the person on the bed survive.
But he seemed to have no regrets; he had even begun thinking about how to kill those who would obstruct him.
After all, there were people who would never agree.
Yang Chenjin looked at the group of doctors, his tone returning to its usual gentleness. “As long as you can keep him alive for six days, I’ll let you leave the Yang family alive.”
“Even take away the people you want to take, and my Yang family will reward you generously, ensuring your prosperity and wealth in the future.”
“But if anything unexpected happens to him in these six days.” Yang Chenjin stood up and looked down at the few people, revealing a faint smile. “I will let you know that sometimes death is a fortunate thing.”
The doctors looked at each other and reluctantly agreed, feeling much relieved.
Saving a person’s life is not easy, but maintaining someone’s life for six days is not a problem.
As long as nothing unexpected occurred.
However, Ruan Qing, lying in bed feigning unconsciousness, felt a chill in his heart after hearing Yang Chen’s words. What did he mean?
Giving up on saving him? Just hoping he lives for six days?
No, it couldn’t be. The timing was too coincidental.
Six days later was the funeral of Yang Chenfeng.
...What did these two want to do at the funeral?
A bad premonition arose in Ruan Qing’s heart.
The boss in this instance seemed to be not human.
Could they be thinking... of turning him into some kind of monster, too?
Ruan Qing remembered what the system said in the <First High School> instace - if determined as non-human by the game’s main system, one could not leave the instance.
Even signing a blood contract with that ‘god’ was not allowed.
Ruan Qing regretted detoxifying himself; it would have been better if he had died back then.
He had unnecessarily increased the difficulty of the game for himself.
Now, with this group of doctors watching and Yang Chenjin and Yang Chenyan involved, he might not even have the chance to seek death.
Ruan Qing didn’t want to stay with these non-humans.
Absolutely not!
Yang Chenjin looked at the steward and calmly said, “Pull out all the poisonous flowers and plants in the Yang family villa.”
The steward, somewhat surprised, raised his head and instinctively replied, “But those are the flowers that Master Yang likes. If Master Yang comes back...”
“What? Do I need to say it again?” Yang Chenjin lightly chuckled, revealing a gentle smile. “If I can still see any poisonous plants in an hour, go into the fog yourself.”
Although Yang Chenjin’s tone and expression were casual, it was clearly a serious threat.
Those who knew him understood that he was decisive.
At least, as long as you didn’t violate the taboos of the Third Young Master, you wouldn’t provoke him.
The taboos of the Second Young Master, on the other hand, were constantly changing, making it unpredictable, all depending on his mood.
The steward, meeting Yang Chenjin’s gaze, felt a tingling in his scalp and lowered his head, whispering, “Yes, Second Young Master, I’ll instruct the servants to handle it immediately.”
After leaving the room, the steward summoned the servants and passed on Yang Chenjin’s orders.
One of the servants, hearing the steward’s words, was bewildered. “But, sir, most of these flowers and plants were personally planted by Master Yang. He even takes care of them himself. If Master Yang comes back and sees that his beloved flowers are gone...”
As the servant spoke, his body trembled slightly, evidently thinking of something terrifying.
The steward, seeing this, sneered, looking at the servant and calmly said, “It’s a direct order from the Second Young Master. If you have any objections, go and tell him yourself.”
He knew very well that the flowers and plants were personally planted by Master Yang, but the order was also personally given by the Second Young Master.
If they didn’t pull them out now, they might face dire consequences later.
The servant dared not speak up and could only carry out the orders.
The efficiency of the Yang family’s servants was strong. In less than half an hour after Yang Chenjin’s order, all the poisonous plants in the entire Yang family villa were dealt with.
Even the ‘Morning Dawn Flowers’ in the backyard cemetery were not spared.
However, since most of the flowers and plants in the Yang family villa were poisonous, pulling them out left the landscape bare, looking very unsightly. Only the harmless grass remained.
However, the presence of that small grass accentuated the entire garden’s desolation, giving it an unusually bleak appearance.
It looked as if it had been plundered by bandits or resembled a newly excavated barren land.
This scene completely diluted the fear brought by yesterday and the night before, even exuding a hint of amusement from people seeing it.
Unaware guests, looking at the bald garden, were utterly bewildered.
Some even doubted if they’re still dreaming in their sleep, wondering how the flowers disappeared.
Weren’t they splendidly blooming yesterday? Could it have been devoured by the blood-red vines last night?
Realizing that staying in their rooms would keep them safe, many guests calmed down, chatting casually by the garden.
“What happened? They were all pulled out by the Yang family’s servants, completely stripped in half an hour, as if it were a prank.”
The nearby guest was speechless, obviously shocked by the Yang family’s extravagant actions.
An informed guest nearby sighed, “Truly extravagant. Those flowers and plants, when valued, are worth several billion. They pulled them out without hesitation, truly worthy of the Yang family.”
“Several billion?” A familiar guest scoffed, “It’s probably going into the hundreds of billions.”
“Just the ‘Morning Dawn Flower’ is worth tens of thousands each, and they’re not even available on the market, not to mention other flowers and plants.”
The guest was astonished. “So expensive? Why would they pull them out?”
The initial speaker rolled their eyes. “Who knows? Maybe they’re out of their minds.”
The passing Yang family servant nearby: “...”
