Ning Su hooked his arm around Ning Su No. 2’s neck, intending to have a good discussion about self-awareness, when a voice called out to them from outside the window.
“Ning Su! Ning Su, come over and look!”
Black-clothed Azan had chosen this shoe and hat factory among several nearby factories as a base, because it was very large and had a dormitory building that could house people.
After Ning Su’s identity was exposed, he naturally couldn’t participate in their activities and was confined to a room on the second floor of the dormitory building.
Standing at the second-floor window, he could see the situation outside clearly.
In the open space in front of the flower bed stood a person covered in blood.
That person, possibly because he was a doctor, always loved to wear white clothes.
It was the same before entering the game. At that time, he might have been a healthcare worker, wearing a white lab coat over a white shirt.
In Ning Su’s mind, the white lab coat was one of the cleanest pieces of clothing.
But now it was all filthy with blood and flesh, with only occasional patches of white visible.
“Ning Su, do you recognize him?” The Vampire wiped the person’s face, clearing away a layer of thick blood to reveal his features underneath, “This is Yin Qingmo, isn’t he from your guild?”
The person standing downstairs was indeed Yin Qingmo from before he entered the horror game, now a zombie Yin Qingmo.
The Warlock had said before his death that he had seen Yin Qingmo. Yin Qingmo was with Shi Tianzhu. The Warlock had been stationed at the zombie faction base, so what he saw must have been another Yin Qingmo, and that Yin Qingmo must be near the prison, in a place visible from the Warlock’s room window.
Based on this clue, the zombie faction players quickly found another Yin Qingmo.
Vampire: “We wanted to kill him. Guess what?”
“Look, we chopped off his hand, cut off his arm, stabbed him so many times, and he still didn’t die.”
“Only when we sent him to the new zombie warehouse did we realize that he was a zombie.”
The Vampire laughed, “So the other self of a human faction player is a zombie, and the other self of a zombie faction player is a human.”
“Then you human faction players haven’t really suffered any loss.”
Ning Su looked at Yin Qingmo, who resembled a ragdoll, and said, “What do you want to do?”
The Vampire said menacingly, “The Warlock and Guo Xiao both died so miserably because you killed their other selves.”
“What’s the point of hiding? I’ll kill him right in front of you.”
Both Ning Sus stared at him, their clear peach-blossom eyes reflecting a hint of darkness.
Vampire: “Don’t move, or Shi Tianzhu will die.”
He laughed again. “Of course, you’re not as fast as me, anyway. I’m the fastest player in the whole base.”
Yin Qingmo opened his mouth, spilling a mix of blood and flesh.
“Isn’t there supposed to be a last meal for the condemned? I fed him a bit, you know, that girl from your guild called Le Yuxiang. We caught her, the player herself.”
[What the hell! Eating his own teammate?]
[I saw it, too bloody. Both of them will have psychological trauma.]
[The players from the Yinhua Guild are really having it tough.]
[Damn, I saw Le Yuxiang’s little finger fall out of Yin Qingmo’s mouth.]
From the start of this instance, it was destined that the other selves of human faction players were zombies.
They were zombies, possessing the instincts of zombies, yet at the same time, they retained clear consciousness.
Yin Qingmo opened his mouth again. This doctor seemed to want to say something, but he couldn’t utter a word, revealing only a small finger.
His eyes were very red, almost lifeless, staring unblinkingly at the two Ning Sus.
The Gu Witch was a Gu Witch before he died, and entering the infinite horror game only gave him more terrifying Gu-raising skills.
Yin Qingmo was a doctor in his previous life, and after entering the infinite game, he became an even more formidable healer.
Perhaps only the most intense love or hate, the belief or obsession that permeates one’s very bones, could lead to such continuation and inheritance.
For a doctor who saved lives, the pain of eating a teammate was something beyond what others could imagine.
Ning Su grasped the window sill tightly: “You are a doctor. Even in another world, you are still a doctor. For the next three years, for a long time in the future, you are still a doctor, you—”
“Bang!”
Ning Su just saw the light in Yin Qingmo’s eyes, but before he could finish speaking, Yin Qingmo’s head shattered and splattered in front of him.

Human Survivor Base.
At this stage, the base had a very clear division of labor, with various functional teams under the base leader.
Shi Tianzhu and his group were taken to a meeting room where several team leaders were present.
The base leader said, “You need to discuss the details with them. I can’t manage that.”
Shi Tianzhu glanced at the indifferent base leader and then looked at the team leaders.
A burly team leader said to them, “I heard you guys are impressive. Of course, we are willing to cooperate. You are helping us out.”
He looked at them and said, “Our common goal is to eliminate zombies and protect the human homeland, right?”
Shi Tianzhu didn’t speak, but Jia Chengsheng said, “Yes, that’s our common goal.”
He added, “The sooner, the better.”
The man readily agreed. “Great, I’m Zhou Zhihu, the leader of the zombie eradication team. Let’s start planning now.”
They were very experienced in dealing with zombies. Zhou Zhihu said, “When zombies eat people, they instinctively choose the elderly, weak, sick, and others who are not strong attackers, but that’s not how we fight zombies, especially in large-scale battles.”
Jia Chengsheng immediately understood, “Because zombies now also have levels and consciousness, and leaders have emerged, right?”
“Exactly!” Zhou Zhihu said. “Low-level zombies obey high-level ones. High-level zombies are as smart as humans and lead the low-level ones in attacks. Zombie groups with organization and leadership are terrifying.”
“So, we need to eliminate the high-level zombies first. Once they are disorganized, it’s much easier to deal with scattered zombies.”
Yin Qingmo said, “Makes sense. Do we need to identify the high-level zombies in advance?”
Zhou Zhihu replied, “We have already identified them.”
Jia Chengsheng smiled. “It’s a pleasure working with you.”
Their plan was correct. The most important thing was to quickly unite the humans of this world and then find the players’ other selves as soon as possible.
Uniting the humans here could truly give them a lot of assistance and save a lot of trouble.
Zhou Zhihu took out a photo. “This is the highest-level zombie we have identified.”
Everyone was taken aback when they saw the photo.
In the northern suburbs of the city, a young boy stood among a group of zombies, looking clean and strikingly noticeable amidst the terrifying zombies.
In front of them was a magnificent, fiery red sunset. The pale boy looked back, his peach blossom eyes reflecting the sunset light like blood.
[It’s Ning Su? A zombie Ning Su!]
[There’s actually a prophet ahead!]
[The prophet was killed, and the player’s other self is truly an NPC and can become a boss-level NPC.] (T/N: I honestly don’t understand this comment about a ‘prophet’. It read as ‘Yu Yanjia’ in chinese, and I’m not sure if it’s the name of a person or what. ><)
[So, does the Yinhua Guild have to kill the zombie Ning Su? And Ning Su has to help? Killing himself?]
They literally have a massive advantage by having a zombie king on their side, why would they think it's a good idea to kill him?
