Several little children on the spaceship gathered together, chatting about their topics.
Lele didn’t have as much energy as the others. After chatting with them for a while, he fell asleep leaning against Savi.
Savi pulled over a small blanket and wrapped Lele up. He lowered his voice. “Ningning, lower the volume of the star device video a bit.”
“Okay!”
The little child who was watching his brother’s training video turned down the volume and continued watching with Wagner. He whispered to Wagner, “Isn’t my brother amazing?”
Wagner hesitated for a moment, then nodded.
The little child continued to boast about his brother. “My brother is also the top student. He got a lot of awards, and I asked Uncle Lulu to stick them all up in the study.”
Huo Lin had always been excellent since he was a child. He could get the top grade in every subject and had received many awards. However, due to his personality, even if he got awards, he wouldn’t show off.
Unlike some children, if they scored 100, they would probably grab their paper and show it to every stray dog passing by.
When the little child first saw his brother’s awards, he was completely stunned. He never expected that his brother would have so many awards.
The boastful little child immediately hugged the awards and seriously asked Uncle Lulu to stick them on the study wall.
There were also a few awards that the little child asked his brother for and then stuck them by Zhan Xi’s bedside.
Zhan Xi looked at Huo Lin’s awards and then at the little child. He actually wanted to ask how the little child could look at his brother’s awards all day and still feel justified in daydreaming during class.
“Caesar is very impressive.”
Wagner nodded in agreement. “I can’t even get first place.”
First place with awards was super impressive for children.
The children chatted and watched the video, and before they knew it, they reached their destination.
Raphael said that the children coming over would surely be noisy, but he was quick to pick them up.
He didn’t let An Nuo follow him, “I’ll bring them back, you can just wait here.”
Hearing this, An Nuo simply stayed at home. He had prepared many gifts for the children and could use this time to tidy up a bit more.
There were also some new clothes. Since he didn’t know Wagner and Savi would be coming, he hadn’t prepared clothes for them.
“Forget it. Let them sort it out themselves.”
An Nuo knew that their little child had just visited Twain for New Year’s greetings and had received both red envelopes and gifts. If they came here and he only prepared gifts for Ningning without preparing any for Wagner, it wouldn’t be appropriate.
While An Nuo was tidying up the gifts, Raphael had already picked up a few children.
As soon as the little child saw his aunt, he stretched out his arms wanting a hug.
Raphael picked up the little child and exclaimed, “Ningning, what have you been eating over the New Year?”
This little child was getting heavier.
Sitting on his arm, the little child replied loudly without thinking, “Meat! Lots of meat!”
The meals during the New Year on the barren planet were substantial, with large plates filled with solid meat.
The little child had been eating meat non-stop since they got back, and none of it went to waste—it all turned into meat on his body. When you pinched him, he was all soft and chubby.
Raphael pinched his chubby flesh, a hint of a smile in his eyes. “Since you’ve eaten so much meat, Auntie will prepare more vegetables for you to help you feel less greasy.”
The little child wrapped his arms around Raphael’s neck and said very seriously in a childish voice, “No way, I still want to eat meat!”
Raphael held the little child while the other three children, who didn’t want to be carried, held hands and followed beside them.
It wasn’t long before Raphael brought all the children back. The little child who was just trying to coax some gold out of his aunt immediately rushed to his uncle upon seeing him.
“Uncle! I missed you so much!”
The little child buried his chubby face in his uncle’s chest, rubbing vigorously.
An Nuo hadn’t seen him all New Year and missed him terribly.
“Ningning, let Uncle take a look at your little face.”
An Nuo cupped the little child’s cheeks, and upon discovering that his face was even fairer and chubbier, he smiled, lowered his head, and kissed him on the cheek. “Uncle missed you too.”
The uncle and nephew were all clingy. After being kissed, the little child tilted his face up, asking his uncle to kiss the other cheek.
Raphael found it a bit much to watch.
After a while of this clinginess, the little child finally let go, satisfied.
He then pulled Wagner, Savi, and Lele to stand in front of his uncle and wish him a Happy New Year together.
The little child used the same New Year greeting for his uncle as everyone else.
He looked at his uncle sitting in the chair and, in a sweet and sincere childish voice, said, “I wish uncle always stays handsome, healthy, eats a lot, and is as healthy as I am!”
An Nuo listened to his beloved little child’s blessings, his smile gentle and beautiful.
The other children’s blessings were also well-spoken, as they all liked their handsome Uncle An Nuo.
An Nuo gave each of them a big red envelope and ruffled their heads.
“In the new year, I wish you all happiness and health,” said Uncle An Nuo.
Unlike other parents, Uncle An Nuo’s blessings didn’t include urging the children to study hard, work hard, or stay out of trouble.
In comparison, the children liked Uncle An Nuo even more.
After giving their New Year greetings to An Nuo, the children turned to Raphael.
Raphael was already seated, cleared his throat, and looked down at the children, saying, “Alright, come and give your New Year greetings.”
The little child looked at his aunt, pondered for a moment, and decided to use the New Year greeting template he had prepared for Uncle Twain.
When Raphael heard the phrase “early birth of a noble son,” his eyelid twitched fiercely.
“Wait, little chubby, did you just say ‘early birth of a noble son’? Do you know what that means?”
The little child blinked blankly, not knowing.
Seeing the child’s ignorance, Raphael immediately made a decision, “Don’t rush off. I’m going to get a tutor for you all right now.”
The little child exclaimed, “!”
Having just thrown down his schoolbag, the little child rushed over and hugged his aunt’s leg, pleading, “Please don’t get a tutor!”
Since returning from White Mist Star, he hadn’t touched his schoolbag and didn’t want to study at all now.
Raphael looked down at the ignorant child and insisted on getting him some tutoring.
Seeing how determined his aunt was, the little child’s eyes filled with tears.
The phrases he used to greet his aunt were all idioms, so why was his aunt treating him like this?
The little child, with tears in his eyes, hugged his aunt’s leg, his chubby little bottom sitting on his foot, refusing to move.
