The tentacles of the Tai Sui were increasingly madly darting through the dense fog, sweeping and plundering.
During such an explosive sweep, if players couldn’t find their way here, their chances of survival would have been slim.
After two players were consecutively thrown into the brown-pink main body by the tentacles, Ning Changfeng leaped out from the dense fog.
At the same time, more short tentacles sprouted from Tai Sui’s flesh, catching nearby players off guard.
Ning Changfeng: “Since everyone is gathered here, instead of troubling ourselves with mutual deceit, let’s have Tai Sui determine our ranking.”
The human pupa master hiding behind the Tai Sui, using her last strength, smashed the human pupae towards Shi Tianzhu.
She was too weak to dodge Tai Sui’s tentacles and was pierced through the stomach. She hadn’t died yet.
She stared intently as ten pupae rushed towards Shi Tianzhu.
As she threw the pupae towards Shi Tianzhu, on the other side, the Black-clothed Azan kicked a tentacle flying towards him in Shi Tianzhu’s direction.
There were already tentacles lunging towards Shi Tianzhu.
Surrounded on three sides.
The human pupa master waited to see if her pupa could bite off a part of Shi Tianzhu like last time.
Next to Shi Tianzhu, the gloved female player, ignoring the tentacles rushing towards her, threw an iron net towards Shi Tianzhu.
Shi Tianzhu: “Don’t mind me!”
She just kicked away two pupae rushing towards her, completely ignoring the tentacles.
With a swift move to the side, she dodged into a white shell.
Those tentacles, just about to pierce through the shell, suddenly stopped for some unknown reason.
Black-clothed Azan was about to reach out when Ning Changfeng kicked and broke his elbow. “President Li, our match isn’t over yet.”
Jia Chensheng just swept away the doctor’s poison gas, and suddenly saw the green insects on the fan. He cursed and quickly backed away.
Countless insects were swept up by the hurricane and flew towards Ning Changfeng and the Black-clothed Azan, who were fighting.
“...”
Several dirty words were uttered in succession.
The shell, propelled by this gust of wind, flew towards the human pupa master. A hand extended from the shell and threw the still stubbornly living human pupa master into the flesh of Tai Sui.
As the human pupa master sank into the dark brown sticky flesh, the pupae on the shell disappeared one by one.
The shell staggered and was swept towards the Tai Sui’s flesh by the hurricane.
When Jia Chensheng withdrew his fan again, an insect had already crawled onto his arm, burrowing into his skin.
He found himself unable to control his hand.
Stiffly, he raised his hand and fanned at Shi Tianzhu, and then a burst of poisonous gas rushed towards him.
“...”
On his left was the doctor; and on his right was the Gu Witch.
Tentacles continued to attack from the front.
He didn’t care anymore; let him die first.
Just let him die.
Shi Tianzhu’s shell was thrown into Tai Sui’s flesh twice in succession, but for some reason, it wasn’t adhered to the flesh. Instead, it attracted all the tentacles to rush towards her.
What would happen when those densely packed tentacles, obscuring the sky, charge toward someone?
“My bad.”
Before exiting the game, Jia Chensheng heard Shi Tianzhu say this to him while using a flying knife to pierce his neck.
At that moment, he saw the scene inside the shell and understood why Shi Tianzhu was willing to spend such crucial time to advance the dungeon plot.
Jia Chensheng fell to the ground in response, the tentacles not touching him but instead rushing towards the Gu Witch behind him.
A wall of insects blocked the way in front of the Gu Witch, giving him a chance to catch his breath and flee.
As the tentacles broke through the wall of insects, the Gu Witch had already run to where Ning Changfeng and Black-clothed Azan were. The tentacles chased the shell there.
The doctor protected Shi Tianzhu closely behind her.
A chaotic battle ensued.
[D*mn! D*mn! D*mn! Besides d*mn, I don’t know what else to say. The top ten players are terrifying!]
[From five minutes ago till now, I haven’t been able to see anyone clearly. Is this the speed of the pros?]
[My eyes are dazzled, my face is confused; not only can’t I see clearly, I can’t understand either.]
[Why are those tentacles following Shi Tianzhu?]
In the room, Zhu Shuangshuang, Su Wangsheng, and Ji Mingrui couldn’t keep up with their speed; besides feeling tense and excited, they couldn’t discern much else.
They couldn’t make sense of it just now, and now in the chaos of battle, it’s even harder for them to see clearly.
Zhu Shuangshuang asked, “If I’m not mistaken, earlier the tentacles were attacking Shi Tianzhu, right? Why are they only chasing after her shell now and not attacking?”
Su Wangsheng and Ji Mingrui were also puzzled.
Ning Su said, “It should be related to what’s inside her shell.”
Originally, Ning Su’s perspective was following Shi Tianzhu.
After Shi Tianzhu’s team finished resting, they continued searching for clues in the mist, progressing through the subplot of the dungeon.
Compared to the thrilling excitement in the perspectives of others, their side was relatively calm. Ning Su was also interested in getting to know skilled players from other guilds, so he didn’t pay much attention here, often switching perspectives to watch other players.
He only saw them following a boy to a factory, searching for information there.
When Shi Tianzhu killed Jia Chensheng just now, the shell opened for a second, and in that brief moment, Ning Su glimpsed that there were likely more than just Shi Tianzhu inside.
As they spoke, the chaos paused briefly as Ning Changfeng, after two consecutive battles, finally defeated the Black-clothed Azan.
The audience couldn’t see anything clearly; on the field, only three people remained: Shi Tianzhu, Ning Changfeng, and the Gu Witch.
The Gu Witch looked disheveled, with blood all over his white hair, one hand seemingly bitten off by something.
Ning Changfeng wasn’t at ease either; his complexion wasn’t good, with several wounds clawed onto his face, the wounds already festering and spreading.
Shi Tianzhu’s shell had already lost two corners, with a collapsed section in the middle, where bright red blood was prominently visible.
The thick fog and night merged together, creating a darkness that obscured the sky.
The three rested quietly in different areas, their breathing slow and heavy.
[Are these the top three?]
[Yes, there shouldn’t be any surprises; there are no other perspectives left to choose.]
[I haven’t figured out how the others died yet, and the top three are already out.]
[Among the remaining three, two are Shi Tianzhu’s enemies. If they join forces, Shi Tianzhu will be in danger.]
[That’s not certain. Shi Tianzhu has the assistance of the dungeon world’s biggest boss.]
[How did she manage that? Why?]
[Because our guild leader isn’t like others, eager to kill. She’s the only one who takes the dungeon seriously.]
Thanks for the update
