He stripped off the two people’s clothes.

That’s how Xie Xuanlan acquired two sets of white lab coats, disguising himself and Ruan Qing as laboratory researchers.

They wandered around for over ten minutes until they finally found a researcher with the necessary clearance.

Ruan Qing inferred from the male researcher’s words that this Dr. Fu was likely the same doctor they saw on the helicopter.

The male researcher smiled again. “Zone C. It’s not easy to find suitable candidates nowadays. I see potential in them, so I’m taking them with me.”

It was common for senior researchers to mentor new recruits; after all, working with like-minded teams was much more comfortable and led to faster progress.

Therefore, this explanation didn’t seem out of place.

The person nodded in understanding. “Indeed, I’ve been thinking about training some new recruits myself.”

The male researcher nodded at him and turned to walk towards the door.

Their figures completely disappeared behind the door.

Because it was nothing like what the male researcher claimed—there were many people in the laboratory, busy conducting research and experiments.

Not only was Dr. Fu present, but Yan San and Yan Ci were also there.

And as the two opened the door, everyone in the laboratory turned to look at them.
